“This was a great trip and a really knowledgeable, gracious and friendly guide (Peter ?). It is about an hour drive each way to/from Curonian spit. but you get a good sense of the communities, beaches and the Hill of Witches. Peter relayed very good info on the folk lore of the 'witch' statues and was a great walk through magical woods. Interesting to stand and overlook the Russian border (Kaliningrad) which is something most Westerners will never get to see. Very interesting discussions on the way of life in the area, the history and the culture. Would have been nice to include at least a quick tour of old…”

“Really great tour with Andrew, saw a lot of things, but the Hill of Witches and the smoked fish were my favorite! He really made everything come alive with his stories about history, mythology, and his everyday experience living on the Spit… it was also really interesting to learn about the dunes and how they’re alive versus dead, and that whole towns were covered up by their motion! I would definitely recommend taking this tour and especially doing it one on one if possible, there were so many fascinating things to learn about and discuss!”
